Internet Banking offers you a convenient way of carrying out your Banking needs without visiting the branch. It saves your time and money, which usually get spent in visiting the branch for carrying out such banking transactions.

#3. I Am Getting The Message “Invalid Login Id And Password”. What Does It Mean?

This message means either of the following –

  • You are inputting incorrect User ID / Login Password. OR
  • Your user ID has been temporarily disabled due successive attempts of wrong password.

#5. I Have Received Only Login Password And Not Transaction Password?

For security reasons, Login and Transaction Password are sent on different dates in different cover. Hence, you may not get both passwords at the same time but after a time gap.You have only View facility. Hence transaction password was not issued.

Submit your request for transaction password form to our branch for generation of transaction password.

#8. How can I activate Mobile Banking?

  • After successful downloading and installation of Mobile Banking application, you need to send an SMS from your Registered Mobile Number by typing the keyword ‘starotp’ to 9810558585.
  • Upon receiving the OTP, enter this in the application and then set your MPIN. MPIN is a four digit number.
  • Activation of BTM is one time activity and further login can happen through User Name and MPIN. The MPIN can be changed subsequently whenever desired.

#10. In How Many Forms Is Debit Card Issued?

Debit Cards are issued in 2 forms – Personalized Card – the name of the Cardholder is printed on the Card and PIN is received at the communication address of the Card Holder. Non–Personalized Card – the Card Holder’s Name is not printed on the Card. The PIN is received along with, and activated same day or, at the most, next working day.

Bank of India issues Debit Cards on 3 platforms. They are MasterCard, VISA and RuPay. They can be used at any ATM that displays MasterCard / VISA / RuPay / BANCS logo and at all Merchant Establishments (MEs) equipped with the Point of Sale (POS) terminals displaying MasterCard / VISA / RuPay logo.
